Vegan Chilli Tofu Bowls
  • ¼ cup scallions/ spring onions diced
  • 2 cloves of finely grated garlic
  • 3 teaspoon Balion Coconut Amino Chilli
  • 1 teaspoon Balion Coconut Flower Cider Vinegar Red Chilli
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seed oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 table spoon chili oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 teaspoon neutral oil
  • 2 teaspoon Balion Coconut Flower Honey

Cut the tofu in bite size pieces and soak them in salt water for 10 mins. Drain the tofu and toss them in a teaspoon of sesame oil. Airfry the tofu @180 degree for 8-10 mins till golden brown.

In a bowl add all the ingredients from the above list till chilli oil.

In a saucepan, heat neutral oil till it is very hot. Carefully add it to the bowl with the rest of the mixed dressing. Combine well.

Add the air fried tofu to the bowl. Toss well till the tofu is fully coated.

Serve it with steamed rice, steamed broccoli (or avocado)and Edamame. Drizzle the rest of the leftover dressing over the broccoli and rice.

Note : for additional Chili flavour add 1 finely chopped chilli to the dressing.
